This module has been an eye-opening experience, revealing the complex aspects behind constructing mesmerizing buildings, particularly in terms of materials and construction techniques. Both Project 1 and Project 2 played crucial roles in expanding my knowledge and skills. Through these projects, I realized that understanding the construction process is just as important as the design itself.

In Project 2, building a 1:25 model with detailed annotations required extensive research, enhancing my digital literacy. This deep dive into materials and structural systems not only allowed me to grasp the intricacies of my own design but also broadened my perspective on how different cultures and contexts influence material choices and construction methods. This global perspective has made me more aware of the diverse approaches in architecture and the importance of considering citizenship and cultural context in design.

The module also sharpened my intrapersonal skills, giving me a new perspective on design—one that appreciates both aesthetics and practicality. It fostered a lifelong curiosity, making me more observant of construction techniques and material choices in real-world buildings.

Overall, this module has sparked my curiosity and, with the guidance of my tutor, Mr. Edwin Chan, has significantly improved my knowledge and skills in architecture and construction.
