PROJECT 3
PRESENTATION BOARD (30% INDIVIDUAL)
TASK:
In this concluding assignment, the project is coordinated with the Architecture Design I module. The task involves creating orthographic and axonometric drawings of the structures/models we initially designed at a 1:20 scale.
Embarking on this final assignment, in collaboration with the Architecture Design I module, has proven to be a formidable challenge for me. The heavy workload demanded that I push my limits and maintain a disciplined approach. Reflecting on the skills gained from Project Two, where I learned how to draw outlines and use the right line weight based on the distance of the object, as well as mastering axonometric, one-point perspective, and two-point perspective drawing, I encountered a new challenge in creating an exploded axonometric for this project.
Lifelong Learning:
Moreover, the project underscored the concept of lifelong learning. The experience of tackling a new challenge, such as creating an exploded axonometric, reinforced the idea that learning is a continuous process. Adapting to new drawing techniques and methodologies showcased my commitment to ongoing learning and skill development.
Intrapersonal Skills:
Additionally, the emphasis on intrapersonal skills was crucial for success in this project. To effectively manage the workload, I recognized the necessity of creating a detailed timeline and sticking to it. This required discipline, organization, and a heightened level of self-awareness. Meeting deadlines became a critical aspect of this project, highlighting the significance of intrapersonal skills in maintaining a steady workflow.
Thinking and Problem Solving Skills:
In summary, as I navigated through uncharted drawing territory, the project became a test of my thinking and problem-solving skills. The skills gained from Project Two, particularly in outlining and mastering different perspectives, proved to be essential in helping me tackle the challenges of this project. The emphasis on intrapersonal skills, particularly in time management, was crucial for success. Lastly, the project reinforced the principle of lifelong learning, highlighting the value of adaptability and continuous skill enhancement.
